Lerner Hall - Renovation to Cafe 212
New York, NY

Lizardos prepared contract documents for the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection design for the renovation of CAFE 212 located on the main floor at Lerner Hall.

The mechanical design included renovations to the existing HVAC system that included new supply and return air distribution. All trades prepared an Energy Code Analysis to provide conformance with the New York City Energy Conservation Code. Upgrades to the electrical system included new Panels, branch circuitry, switching for the lighting system, and modifications to the existing fire alarm system.  Plumbing design modified the existing domestic hot and cold water distribution systems as well as the sanitary systems. Fire protection extended the existing sprinkler system to accommodate the new café ceiling layout.
